Cohesión socioambiental en Centroamérica y la República Dominicana

Este informe sobre cohesión socioambiental se estructura alrededor de cuatro áreas temáticas: Tierra; Biodiversidad; Recursos Hídricos; y Cambio Climático. Dentro de estas áreas temáticas se analizan los principales aceleradores que influyen en su gestión y que afectan a las distintas dimensiones de la cohesión social. El presente informe sobre cohesión socioambiental cobra particular relevancia debido a la
importancia de los recursos naturales en la aparición de tensiones y conflictos en la región.
El presente documento de análisis es parte de un compendio de tres informes sobre cohesión social, que profundizan el concepto desde perspectivas diferentes y complementarias en la subregión de Centroamérica: Belice, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Panamá y República Dominicana. La serie analiza la cohesión social en relación con tres de los temas más relevantes identificados en el contexto actual para su promoción: la inclusión económica, la conflictividad socioambiental y el enfoque ODS 16+ sobre paz, justicia e instituciones sólidas.
