Estrategia territorial de prevención de la violencia en el cantón de Puntarenas

En abril del 2021 se comenzó a implementar la Estrategia Territorial de Prevención de la Violencia en el cantón central de Puntarenas (en adelante la Estrategia o ETPVCP), con foco en los distritos de El Roble, Chacarita y Barranca. Dicha Estrategia es un instrumento de planificación que permite a diversos actores locales, institucionales y comunitarios, llevar a cabo acciones de manera articulada e integral para abordar el tema que convoca: la prevención de la violencia (Ministerio de Justicia y Paz, 2020).
En este sentido, el presente texto analiza la experiencia de la ETPVCP con el objetivo de identificar elementos claves para el diseño, la implementación y la sostenibilidad de estrategias para la prevención de la violencia con enfoque territorial.
