Violence against women and girls throughout the life cycle in Guatemala 2021

The following infographic presents an analysis of violence against women differentiated throughout the life cycle for the year 2021 in Guatemala. It includes data on violence against women, violent deaths/feminicides, missing women (alerts), rape and human trafficking. This analysis was prepared by the UNDP Infosegura team based on international instruments and national legislation on violence against women for 2021 and with data from official sources in the country: Information System for Investigation Control of the Public Ministry -SICOMP- ., data generated on 02/25/2022, in the process of validation by the INE, National Civil Police-Statistics Section in the process of validation by the INE, Population projections according to the 2018 CENSUS and the National Institute of Statistics.
